Led Sessions and Workshops

Gallery Oldham will be running led activities and workshops for Junior and Secondary age groups while Creative Tension is on from 5 March – 2 May 2005.

Workshops are free for schools within Oldham LEA, and all materials and equipment are provided. We can take a maximum of 30 pupils per workshop. There is a small charge of £1.00 per pupil for schools outside Oldham LEA.

Our activities cover many aspects of the National Curriculum from Art and Design to English, and Citizenship to Britain Since the 1930's.

Admission to the Gallery is free, and schools and colleges are welcome to visit independently. Please let us know what day you would like to come and how many children you will be bringing with you. Please ensure you bring one accompanying adult for every ten children.

If you let us know when you will be coming we can arrange a space for you to eat packed lunches. We also have a Gallery risk assessment form available for teachers planning a visit.

To book a led session, or for further information, please contact Debbie Newell at the Gallery on 0161 911 4743 or ecs.deborah.newell@oldham.gov.uk.
